Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TierAce ("TierAce", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with the TierAce service (the "Service"). We aim to handle personal information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

TierAce is an independent organisation-management tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any network marketing company. Data you choose to enter about organisations, contacts, or placements is yours; we do not share it with, or receive it from, any such company.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: email address, display name, and authentication credentials (passwords are stored by our authentication provider in hashed form; we never see or store your plaintext password).
• Billing information: subscription plan, status, and billing history. Full payment card details are collected and stored directly by Stripe, not by us — see Section 6.
• Content you provide: organisation, contact, and member records you create within the Service.
• Technical information: log data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and usage timestamps, collected automatically for security and reliability purposes.

We use personal information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• Process subscription payments and manage billing;
• Authenticate accounts and protect against fraud or unauthorised access;
• Communicate with you about your account, billing, or changes to the Service;
• Respond to support requests;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

Application data is stored using Supabase (a managed PostgreSQL database provider) with row-level access controls limiting each account to its own data. The application itself is hosted on Vercel. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you subscribe, your payment details are submitted directly to Stripe and are subject to Stripe's own privacy policy and security standards (Stripe is a PCI-DSS certified payment processor). We retain only the subscription status, plan, and Stripe-issued identifiers necessary to manage your access to the Service — never your full card number.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the Service, under obligations consistent with this Policy, including:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and subscription billing;
• Supabase — database hosting and authentication;
• Vercel Inc. — application hosting.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside Australia. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

Subject to applicable law, including the Australian Privacy Principles, you may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, and you may lodge a complaint about how we have handled your personal information. To make a request, contact us at support@tierace.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

We retain account and content data for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you wish to reactivate it or as required for legal, accounting, or dispute resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@tierace.com.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate core functionality of the Service (such as authentication session cookies). We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify active subscribers before the changes take effect.
