Affiliate Terms
Last updated: 5 September 2026
1. What this program is
These Affiliate Terms govern the TierAce Affiliate Program, marketed to customers as "Accomplice." "Affiliate," "Accomplice," "you," and "your" all refer to the same person in these Terms: someone enrolled in this program. By enrolling, you agree to these Terms in addition to the TierAce Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility and enrolment
Any authenticated TierAce account holder may enrol as an Accomplice. You do not need an active paid TierAce subscription to join or to remain enrolled — this includes accounts that never subscribed, or whose free trial has expired. Enrolment is self-serve: no invitation or admin approval is required. TierAce automatically generates your unique Accomplice referral link when you enrol; you cannot choose your own referral code, and the code does not contain or reveal your name or email address.
3. Commission
During Beta/V1, the commission rate is 10% of successfully collected TierAce subscription revenue. This rate is a Beta/V1 rate only — it is not permanent or lifetime-guaranteed, and TierAce may change it for future activity with reasonable notice. Commission is earned on every successful eligible subscription payment and renewal for as long as the referred customer's subscription continues without a gap, provided your referral was validly attributed before they became a paying subscriber. No commission is earned merely for a click, an account being created, a trial starting, checkout being started, or a failed or incomplete payment.
4. Referral attribution
The most recent valid Accomplice referral within the 30 days before someone's first successful paid subscription receives attribution for that subscription ("last valid referral wins"). Once that first payment succeeds, attribution is locked to you for the life of that continuous subscription — it cannot be reassigned, and you cannot retroactively claim someone who was already a paying customer before your referral.
5. Cancellation and resubscription
If a referred customer cancels, your attribution to that subscription ends. If they later resubscribe, attribution is assessed again from the start under Section 4 above — the most recent valid referral in the 30 days before the new subscription wins, which may be you, a different Accomplice, or no one. TierAce does not automatically restore your attribution just because you referred them originally.
6. Self-referral
You may not use your own Accomplice link to subscribe or resubscribe to TierAce, and you cannot earn commission on your own subscription. TierAce applies reasonable, proportionate checks to prevent this; it does not operate an elaborate fraud-detection system.
7. Payout
Commission is held for a target protection period before payout to allow for refunds, reversals, and disputes. TierAce pays commission on a fortnightly schedule: each commission is assigned to the scheduled fortnightly payout date closest to that target period, which may fall slightly before or after it. Every payout batch requires TierAce's explicit review and approval before funds are sent — an amount being eligible for payout does not mean it is sent automatically. Approved payouts are sent by TierAce, from TierAce's own business funds, via Wise, to the payout details you provide. Affiliates never receive or handle a referred customer's subscription payment directly.
8. Refunds, reversals, and disputes
Your commission reflects only the portion of a payment TierAce actually keeps. If a payment is partially refunded, the related commission is reduced in proportion to the amount refunded, not cancelled outright — for example, a 20% refund reduces that payment's commission by 20%. If the same payment is refunded more than once, each further refund reduces the commission again in the same way, and the total reduction will never exceed the commission originally earned on that payment. A payment refunded in full brings its commission to zero, and no more.
The same proportional reduction applies if a payment dispute is resolved against TierAce (a "lost" dispute). An opened payment dispute is not treated the same as a lost one; nothing is reduced unless and until the dispute is actually lost. If the affected commission has not yet been paid to you, the reduction is applied before payout. If it has already been paid, TierAce will not demand direct repayment from you — instead, the amount is deducted from your future earnings.
9. What a referred customer can see you see about them
This is important: when someone subscribes to TierAce through your Accomplice link, you will be able to see, inside Accomplice HQ, their name, email address, joined date, current subscription status, current subscription/plan name, and commission information relating to that referral. You will not see their phone number, address, billing or payment details, or any organisation/tree data they keep in TierAce. Accomplice HQ only ever shows people you personally referred — it does not show anyone referred by someone you referred.
10. Suspension and termination
TierAce may disable an Accomplice account, including for suspected abuse of the program, without deleting historical commission or payout records. Disabling your account does not cancel commission you already validly earned, but stops new commission from accruing while disabled.
11. Changes to these Terms
TierAce may update these Affiliate Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify enrolled Accomplices before the changes take effect.
